Applications
GGG-60 is used for gears, crane wheels, cable sheaves, rotors and other mechanically loaded cast components. Foundry guidance also identifies pump parts and gas- or water-valve applications. Other cast components used in this material family include gear and transmission components, hubs, brackets and machine housings.
Applications include agricultural, construction and general industrial machinery. Lifting, low-temperature and pressure-retaining duties require the relevant component-specific requirements; ordinary family uses do not establish those capabilities.
