Applications
Leaded bronze ASTM B584 C97800 is used for ornamental castings, builders hardware and musical-instrument components. Documented industrial uses include valves and fittings for dairy and food-processing equipment. Other cast components used in this material family include building hardware, decorative fittings, plaques, door and window hardware, furniture components and sculptural castings.
Typical settings include public buildings, commercial interiors and ornamental hardware manufacture. Sanitary, marine-furniture and other equipment uses remain grade-specific; these cast copper-nickel-zinc alloys are not nickel-base turbine alloys.
