Applications
Leaded bronze ASTM B584 C97300 is used for ornamental castings, statuary and builders hardware. These are appearance-oriented applications that also require attention to the intended environment and finished surface. Other cast components used in this material family include building hardware, decorative fittings, plaques, door and window hardware, furniture components and sculptural castings.
Typical settings include public buildings, commercial interiors and ornamental hardware manufacture. Sanitary, marine-furniture and other equipment uses remain grade-specific; these cast copper-nickel-zinc alloys are not nickel-base turbine alloys.
